Built for
everyone.
Thomas Gardea Media wants every visitor to be able to see the work, read the prices, and book a shoot, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page explains what we have done, what still has limits, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our standard
We build and check this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely used for websites in the United States. We reviewed the site ourselves in October 2026, page by page, using a keyboard only, 200% zoom, a narrow phone-sized screen, and automated checking tools.
We consider the site partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means most of it meets the standard and a few parts, listed below, do not fully meet it yet. We would rather tell you that plainly than claim a perfect score.
What we have done
Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to content” link is the first stop on each page, and a visible outline always shows where you are. Menus, pop-up panels, and the photo viewer can be closed with the Escape key, and they return you to where you were.
The event quote builder, including its calendar and time picker, and the sports picture-day order form are built to work with a keyboard and with screen readers. Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and error messages say in words which field needs attention.
Text meets contrast requirements against its background. Pages can be zoomed to 200% and read on a small phone without scrolling sideways. The whole site is available in English and Spanish, and it tells assistive technology which language is showing.
Photos that carry meaning have text descriptions. The 3D photo wall in the portfolio is also offered to screen readers as a plain list of the same photos.
Motion & animation
This site moves a lot on purpose. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that automatically: scrolling text, photo strips, the liquid-metal artwork, and the 3D product previews hold still.
Anyone can also stop that movement by opening the menu at the top of any page and choosing “Pause motion.” The choice is remembered on your device until you turn it off.
Known limits
The 3D photo wall is a visual experience. With a keyboard you can move through it using the arrow keys and open the centered photo with Enter. Screen reader users receive the plain photo list instead of the wall itself.
Some portfolio photos still have short descriptions, such as the type of event, rather than a full description of the picture. We are improving these as we add new work.
The 3D product previews on the sports page can be turned by dragging. Dragging shows nothing that the written product description beside each preview does not already say.
On the events page, the large title sits over a moving photo sequence, so its contrast changes as you scroll. The same title is provided as page text for assistive technology.
Other companies’ tools
Some parts of the experience are provided by other companies, and we do not control how accessible they are: the address suggestions in the quote builder (Google Maps), client photo galleries (Pixieset), and payment apps (Cash App, Zelle, and Venmo). If any of these is a barrier, we will take your address by phone or text, deliver your photos another way, or accept another form of payment, including cash.
Book another way
You never have to use the website to work with us. Every service can be quoted, booked, or ordered by phone, text message, or email, in English or Spanish, at the same prices shown on the site.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Call or text (915) 777-2932 or email me@thomasgardea.com. It helps to tell us the page you were on and what you were trying to do.
We aim to reply within two business days, and we will work with you to get you what you need while we fix the problem.
